The Program KUPAR (KURANGI PAPARAN ASAP ROKOK) in the Family Environment to Prevent Acute Respiratory Infection in Toddlers

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Children are susceptible to infections, especially children under five. A common infection is acute respiratory tract infection (ARI). This community service activity uses an interactive lecture and discussion method carried out at one of the Cianjur Regency health centers with 30 participants. Objective: to increase the knowledge of community service participants related to ARI in toddlers. Results: Qualitatively, the increase in knowledge of community service participants was assessed through the ability to define ARI in toddlers, explain the signs and symptoms of ARI in toddlers, explain the risk factors of ARI in toddlers, and explain how to handle ARI in toddlers. Conclusion: there is an increase in community service participants' knowledge of ARI in toddlers.
