The SARENG-KASEV Program: Awareness in Increasing Family Knowledge to Prevent Cervical Cancer
Abstract
Introduction: Cervical cancer can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, so if a person has had sexual intercourse, it is recommended to carry out early detection. Cervical cancer detection is a pre-cancer examination for women at risk of developing cervical cancer, one of which is through the IVA Test. Objective: To strengthen family knowledge in the Muka Health Center Work Area IVA Test examination. Method: The community service activity of the "SARENG-KASEV" Program Sasarengan Kenali Kanker Serviks in the Working Area of the Muka Health Center-Cianjur Regency used the interactive lecture and discussion method carried out at the Muka Health Center-Cianjur Regency with a total of 53 participants. Results: A level of family knowledge absorption was achieved during the activity, and families faced various obstacles related to the IVA Test examination. Conclusion: There is an increase in the visual inspection of acetic acid in the group of fertile women working in the Muka Health Center, Cianjur Regency area
